| Bio I am an independent photojournalist born and raised in Southern California and now based in Northern California. I began my professional career in photography working as an editorial and commercial photographer for regional newspapers and magazines and to this day I remain heavily influenced by my love of photojournalism and documentary photography. My discreet and unobtrusive photographic style enables me to photograph people naturally in their environment and create photographs that present them with their pride and self-dignity. The photographs I create reflect my subject’s character and unique personality and honestly convey the resiliency and spontaneous nature of the human spirit. Straightforward in purpose, my goal is to capture the naturalness of people being themselves living their lives while experiencing the moments and emotions that make up the sensations and passions of life.
